INNOVIM Joins Industry Partners in 5-year Renewable National Science Foundation (NSF) Award

INNOVIM is a member of a winning team on a 5-year renewable National Science Foundation (NSF) award of an Industry/University Cooperative Research Center (I/UCRC). As part of this team, INNOVIM will work with University of Maryland Baltimore Campus (UMBC) professional staff and graduate students, government agencies such as NOAA NESDIS and EPA, and companies such as IBM and Northrop Grumman to establish a cooperative research center for Hybrid Multicore Productivity Research (CHMPR). Together, we will explore how this high-performance computing technology can improve mutual areas of interest such as spatial data processing and visualization, modeling and simulation, imaging and multi-media. Innovim recently attended a kickoff summit led by UMBC.
