CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield (options):
BlueChoice (HMO) provides the cost savings of an HMO and the flexibility to choose a provider from a network of over 2,600 primary care physicians (PCPs), specialty care from over 14,000 participating specialists and hospital care from 55 area hospitals.
BlueChoice Opt-Out Plus is a point-of-service (POS) plan that offers the cost savings of an HMO with the freedom of choice and out-of-pocket savings received through traditional CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield coverage. The plan also allows members to receive care outside the CareFirst BlueChoice network from any provider with a higher out-of-pocket cost.
BluePreferred is a preferred provider organization (PPO) health care plan that offers employees the flexibility to choose their own doctor or hospital and to control health care costs. Employees save money when they obtain their health care from our large Preferred Provider network, and they can self-refer to any physician or provider in the network.
401(k) Plan
Innovim has established a 401(k) Plan to allow employees to invest for their
retirement using pre-tax salary deferred contributions. Innovim shares in
preparing for our employees' future through discretionary contributions
under the profit-sharing plan and matching contributions. To meet the
retirement plan needs of our employees, Innovim has selected ADP Retirement
Services. ADP Retirement Services has been offering retirement plan
solutions since 1989. ADP's longstanding record of financial strength and
stability has enabled them to grow into of the top retirement plan record
keepers in the country. With our customized plan, we provide a retirement
answer that fits each individual employee's needs.
Short-Term, Long-Term and Life Insurance
Innovim has selected UNUM to provide an array of other insurance coverage free of charge to protect our employees and their families from loss of income. Employees have the option of buying additional insurance using our group rates.
Flexible Spending Account
A Flexible Spending Account, also known as an FSA, allows you to set aside money, on a pre-tax basis, to pay for certain expenses. Because this money is deducted from your paycheck before taxes are taken out, the total amount of income on which you pay taxes is reduced. That means you pay less in taxes overall - and have more money in your pocket.
Health care FSAs may be used to pay for out-of-pocket health care expenses such as eyeglasses, dental care, prescriptions, hearing aides, deductibles, or co-pays. With a dependent care FSA option, employees may pay for certain dependent care expenses, such as day care, before/after-school care, and preschool (not kindergarten). A third pre-tax savings option is designed for commuters and may be used for work-related parking or public transportation expenses.
